Draw using simple shapes

All the dinosaurs in this book are based on simple shapes. This gives the characters a quirky, angular style but most importantly, it makes the dinosaurs easy to draw. Unlike many other 'how-to-draw' style books use complex line work with no underlying structure, making it hard to learn and draw. Being able to draw the characters with ease makes drawing these dinosaurs even more enjoyable and is really encouraging for kids!

Step-by-step tutorials

Each dinosaur is broken down in to 7 simple steps, gradually adding details and complexity with each step. Each step has some accompanying instructional text for further clarity.

Additional expressions

We think it's really important to be able to tell stories with your drawings. So not only is there a main pose for each character, many of the dinosaurs have additional expressions to attempt. This makes many of the dinosaurs more than a standalone drawing but a multi-dimensional character with thoughts and feelings for you to learn and play with.

Tell stories

Many of the characters in the book also have additional pose suggestions. These poses are broken down in to their simplified masses and a helpful tips to draw. There's hours of fun to be had and endless stories to be told!

Complete and colour!

Toward the end of the book there are 3 scenes to complete and colour. Learn to draw the characters and test your skills by filling in the scenes. Or if you just want to have some fun, take the book with you and simply colour it in - perfect for on-the-go entertainment!
